135 years on Clarastrasse
In 1891 Theodor Carl Hoffmann opened a photo studio at Clarastrasse 36. We are still here today.
Founded by Theodor Carl Hoffmann at Clarastrasse 36.

The Hoffmann archive (over 400,000 images) goes to the Basel-Stadt State Archives.
Photo specialist Adrian Ernst becomes managing director.
